Easter Eggs Only True Fans Have Been Noticed In Jurassic World Dominion

Near the beginning of “Jurassic Park”, Dr. Alan Grant lectures on velociraptors at a dig site while Dr. Ellie Sattler listens. It’s implied that they are in a relationship since they talk about the fact that she wants children and he doesn’t have any. t. In Alan’s humble RV-turned-workstation, slightly cluttered, Dr. Hammond waits with an open bottle of champagne. That’s when he recruits them to come to Jurassic Park, to provide testimony so he can convince the lawyers that it’s safe to open. The scene effectively serves as an inciting incident for the entire series.

In “Jurassic World Dominion”, Ellie finds Alan at a dig site, where tourists fund his research. She’s waiting for him in her tent, which looks a lot like her old motorhome. This time, she recruits him to help end the ecological disaster caused by Jurassic Park and the misuse of its scientific discoveries. Prehistoric locusts will wipe out the world’s grain supply within weeks, and after visiting a decimated farm that sits next to a Biosyn farm, she hypothesizes that the biotech company is behind the giant insects.

Dr. Grant quickly hides a photo of the two of them that he has kept all these years. Their relationship ended after the first movie, but it’s rekindled here, so this scene and its implications work like a mirror image. Together they fight to avert disaster, and maybe even find happiness together.
