“Hawkeye” Episode 4 “Partners, Am I Right? »Easter eggs and Marvel references

Are you ready to lose your damn head??? So — Hawkeye is full of Christmas music, but there’s one track in episode 4 that’s so incredibly deep I’m absolutely stunned they used it. When Kate hangs out with the LARPs, there is a song that hardly anyone will be familiar with. The song?

“Bells, Bells, Bells” performed by Anthony Daniels as C-3PO from the 1980s Star wars holiday scrapbook Christmas in the stars. Yes, it is a thing that exists and it … is … crazy. Take for example “Bells, Bells, Bells”. It’s a song that starts with C-3PO saying, “I can’t believe the question. It’s like, “What is indigestion? Not that bells and indigestion are the same.

The entire album is a gem, a completely ridiculous holiday artifact that’s just as absurd as the infamous 1979 Star Wars Holiday Special, except Christmas in the Stars has a lot less Wookiee growls. It does however contain the song “What Can You Get a Wookiee For Christmas (When He Owns a Comb)?” “

And then there’s my favorite, the “R2-D2 we wish you a merry Christmas”. Fun fact: The lead voice of this one is sung by a young Jon Bon Jovi, who worked as a janitor in the recording studio. It’s true.

Anyway, the album is amazing and the inclusion of this song on Hawk Eye Better to mean that high quality versions of those recordings are on the way.
