Spider-Man: No Way Home – New Trailer Breakdown & Marvel Easter Egg Analysis
And look, in all fairness, it’s not like the Electro comic has exactly one of the best designs ever, with that crazy lightning mask. But it looks like No Way Home has found a way to bring Foxx back as electro and give it an outfit that is both practical and a nod to the comics, and honestly, that’s pretty awesome.
Sandman and Lizard
And then there is the Lizard of The Amazing Spider-Man who… wait a minute… he’s not dead! We thought all of these villains “died fighting Spider-Man,” so what gives, No way home? Clearly there is something else at work here, unless these villains are just the ones coming through that Doctor Strange can’t hold back and this shot is far in the movie.
Just in case you have any doubts that Sandman caused those sandstorms in the first trailer, it looks like Flint Marko is back! But wait… Marko certainly survived the end of Spider-Man 3, even after being forgiven by Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker (though none of us will ever forgive Spider-Man 3).
Does that mean Sandman and Spidey had a rematch and things didn’t go well? This would certainly require some explanation, perhaps one better provided by the Spidey in question. But since all hopes that we would get confirmation that there are also multiple Spider-Men in this movie have been dashed by this trailer, we’ll just have to wait for them to actually appear in theaters. But come on, we are all know there are other Spideys in this movie, right?
Actually… check this out…
Several Spider-Men confirmed?
It’s a bit of a weird framing, isn’t it? Three villains in different parts of the screen, with a hero in the middle… not jumping towards the villain in the middle. Wouldn’t it be logical that there is a Spidey at Electro level and one at Lizard? In fact, at: 55 in this international version of the trailer, Lizard is clearly getting hit… by someone who isn’t there.
