The Easter Bunny is a star attraction at Brora Fun Day while carrot tossing is popular at the Culrain event

The Easter Bunny was the star attraction at the Brora Carnival week Easter party last Sunday.
Children flocked to have their picture taken with the bunny which also led them on an Easter egg hunt.
Tables were set up at the Dudgeon Park Community Center where the children concentrated on different activities.
There was a coloring, egg painting and crafts contest.
Local Church of Scotland Minister Reverend Lorna Tunstall held a table where children could learn about the history of Easter.
A well-attended day of fun also took place last Saturday in and around the old Culrain Hall.
The bright sun allowed many actions to take place outside.
There were the traditional Easter activities such as egg decorating, but also fun games including carrot tossing. A mini treasure hunt was also organised.
Easter events also took place in other communities in Sutherland.
The number of activities held was a sign that the county is finally opening up after the coronavirus pandemic.
