To kick off Easter celebrations, the City of Conroe’s “Morning with Mr. Bunny” event was back Saturday morning at Carl Barton Jr. Park. Mr. Bunny jumped in for photos as the youngsters scooped up as many eggs as they could which were spread across the fields in Carl Barton Jr. Park. The next step for the City of Conroe Parks and Recreation Department is the return of the first Thursday free concert series. The series returns April 14 with the Dirty River Boys at 7 p.m. at Heritage Place Park. After that, KidzFest will take place downtown on April 30. Visit www.cityofconroe.org to learn more.
